About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized

Project Support Worker

to support the day-to-day running of our homelessness supported accommodation service. This is a key role that ensures services run smoothly, residents receive appropriate support, and contractual, safeguarding, and compliance requirements are met.

You will work closely with the Service Users and management team, supporting operational delivery, maintaining accurate records, coordinating activities, and acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals, highly organized, and confident working within regulated or commissioned services.

It will suit someone looking for additional hours leading to full time role in near future.



Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support to the homelessness service Support the coordination of referrals, move-ins, and move-ons Maintain accurate case records, service user files, and monitoring data Assist with compliance tasks including health & safety, property checks, and audits Support staff with documentation, rotas, and reporting requirements Liaise with local authorities, housing partners, and external agencies as required Support service users with practical tasks where appropriate (e.g. signposting, appointments) Ensure policies, procedures, and service standards are followed at all times Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for residents and staff
About You

You will be:

Compassionate, professional, and non-judgemental Highly organised with good attention to detail Confident using IT systems and maintaining records Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment Able to work independently while being part of a wider team
Essential Requirements

Experience working in homelessness, supported housing, health & social care, or a similar sector Strong administrative and organisational skills Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information Right to work in the UK
Desirable

Experience in commissioned or contract-managed services Knowledge of Housing Benefit, local authority processes, or referral pathways Experience supporting audits, inspections, or compliance monitoring NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care, Housing, or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
