Levitt Mill & Barn is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team. This is a full-time role.

12.60 per hour
Hours:
Full-Time. 35 hours per week
Day shift: 8 am - 3 pm | Late shift: 3 pm - 10 pm
Levitt Mill and Barn is located on the outskirts of the small town of Maltby, close to Rotherham. It offers residential support for 11 people, who have a learning disability and/or are autistic. We are located in a semi-rural setting, in a listed building with its own unique history, situated in the centre of its own grounds in a peaceful woodland setting at the side of a small stream. Our team are dedicated to supporting the people we care for to live as independently as possible by developing their daily living and social skills in a safe and homely environment.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents' wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Support Worker
,
you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bedclothes
Assist with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
Assistance and support to attend medical appointments
Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities

Qualifications and Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature

A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential
