Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen in the everyday. A quiet chat over a cup of tea. A walk to the shops. Helping someone feel safe and seen. As a Support Worker in Alloa, you'll be part of those moments, supporting individuals with mental health needs to live life on their own terms.

You'll join a team that values compassion, dignity and choice. Together, you'll help people build routines, explore interests and stay connected to their communities. Whether it's supporting someone to attend worship, maintain their independence or simply enjoy a good book, your role will be to make each day count.

What you'll do



Provide person-centred care in residential and day care settings Help create and follow individual care plans Support daily routines and encourage independence Administer medication under supervision Facilitate hobbies, interests and community involvement Welcome families and visitors Respect and support Christian worship and values Take part in team meetings, training and supervision

About you



You're someone who brings warmth, patience and reliability to every interaction. You care about people and want to help them live well. You don't need previous experience in social care we'll support you to gain your SVQ in Health and Social Care if you don't already have it. What matters most is your willingness to learn and your commitment to making a difference.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
