About the people and their home
People living at Gordon Ave enjoy doing the following activities: theme parks, swimming, gym, spin classes, rock climbing, pub meals, bingo, college, night clubs, discos, funfairs, gardening, volunteer jobs, watching demolishing works and visiting garden centres. In summer, the garden becomes the home's hub.
We enjoy donating food items to the local community church and working in the rainbow cafe. One member of the home is recognised in the local community for her work in the cafe. Staff attended the local hero awards in 2023 and 2024, and one was a 'team member of the month' winner in March 2025.
The support workers here pride themselves on empowering the people living at Gordon Ave to achieve their ever-changing goals, enabling them to be fully in control of their lives.
About you
Although it would be beneficial to have some experience of healthcare work, it isn't absolutely necessary as we provide full training. As long as you're passionate, hard-working and empathetic, you'll fit right in.
Join the team today and begin sharing moments and shaping lives.
