We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties



Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Provide patient care by monitoring health conditions and reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Engage in behaviour management strategies to support clients with diverse needs. Perform heavy lifting as required to assist clients with mobility and transfers. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that all areas are tidy and hygienic. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans. Foster positive relationships with clients, promoting independence and encouraging participation in activities.

Requirements



Previous experience in a nursing or care role is highly desirable. Strong understanding of patient care principles, particularly in home care and assisted living settings. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to client interaction. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is advantageous. A commitment to ongoing professional development and training in the field of support work. Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by client needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,740.00-26,569.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
