Job Description
*Urgently Seeking Support Workers in Canterbury
Medication Trained or happy to train
Location: Canterbury , and surrounding areas
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need, including seniors, patients.
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions.- Assist adolescents with challenging behaviours and mental health needs
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with individuals.
- Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or health status.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience in providing care and support to individuals.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to administer medication accurately and safely. (Must be Medication Trained or ready to do Medication Training)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From 12.80 per hour
Education:
GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Support worker: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
English (preferred)
Work Location: In person
