Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Worker to provide essential care and support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being and comfort of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor any side effects. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with shopping and running errands. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities as needed. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily conducted in clients' homes. May require flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be comfortable working in various home environments and with clients who may have different needs and conditions.

Additional:

Full Training provided. Full time, part time and bank contracts available. Mileage paid.
