We are looking for
Support & Key Workers
who are committed to empowering young people - including asylum seekers and those with complex backgrounds - to thrive in safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Support & Key Worker
, you'll be a trusted adult in a young person's life - providing 1:1 support, promoting independence, and playing a key role in helping them transition to adulthood.
Your role will include:
Providing emotional, social, and practical support to young people aged 16+
Acting as a key worker for individual young people - managing support plans, goals, and records
Delivering life skills sessions (e.g., budgeting, cooking, personal care)
Advocating for young people's rights and wellbeing in education, health, and legal settings
Lone working within accommodation settings with management and on-call support
Supporting and promoting safeguarding in line with statutory and company procedures
Liaising with Children's Services, schools, health teams, and community agencies
Encouraging participation in activities that build confidence and a sense of belonging
Keeping accurate records on our secure digital systems

Essential:
Experience working with young people or vulnerable individuals
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Commitment to upholding the
and Ofsted quality standards
Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent
Experience supporting care leavers, asylum-seeking children, or those with complex needs
