We're looking for a compassionate and committed individual to join our residential team supporting children and young people in care. You'll be part of a warm, supportive environment where every day brings a chance to positively impact a young person's life.
Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create a nurturing, structured, and empowering atmosphere. You'll be directly involved in day-to-day support, helping residents build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of each young person
Helping to implement care plans and update records accurately
Providing safe, consistent care in line with safeguarding practices
Assisting in daily routines, activities, and development goals
Building trust and healthy relationships through guidance and encouragement
What You'll Need to Succeed
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this - essential for Ofsted)
Previous experience supporting children or young people in a residential setting
A positive, resilient, and empathetic attitude
A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work flexible hours and contribute to a team-focused environment
UK work authorisation (required)
Full driving licence (preferred)
