Sarah and Sinead are individuals who each live at home with their families. You will get to play an integral part in helping them transition to their new, shared home. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is up for a challenge and with a real focus on providing the right support to ensure they can be as independent as possible.


Sarah is registered blind and has complex needs and autism. She loves music, both listening and playing and spends time listening to stories on her IPAD. She is very active and enjoys horse riding, swimming, and going to the cinema. She also likes going to Sunday Mass and being part of her local SPRED religious group.


Sinead also has complex autism. She is energetic, sociable and enjoys playing her Nintendo. She enjoys being part of her local community groups and singing karaoke. Sinead is an animal lover and a real people person.


Both ladies have a great sense of humour and love a laugh and would enjoy being supported by a team of workers who are like-minded.


Family is important to both ladies and relatives will play an active part in their daily lives.


Full training and in-depth transition plan will be provided to the successful candidates in relation to both ladies' support needs.

Applicants should be able to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of with shifts including evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

About The Role




Working locally, you will join one of our teams delivering great quality individualised support to adults who have a variety of support needs. You will empower individuals to live as independently as possible, promoting choice, dignity, and well-being. Every day is different in this challenging but rewarding role.


If you're caring, reliable, flexible, and passionate about supporting others to achieve the life they desire, then you could be who we are looking for!


Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people who use our service. Supports will include work in the evenings and weekends as well as sleepovers and waking nights when required.


A commitment to a person-centred approach is essential and experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable.
