Dunn Street Respite Service

, we provide short-term support for adults with additional needs -- creating a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment while giving families and carers valuable time to rest and recharge.


We're currently recruiting

Support Workers

to join our dedicated and friendly team. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues to deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, builds confidence, and enables people to enjoy meaningful experiences based on their individual interests and preferences.


Every day will be different -- from helping with daily living skills and personal care, to joining in with fun activities, outings, and social events that bring joy and purpose.


This is a

permanent role

with a variety of shifts available, including

day shift, back shift, and sleepovers

. Occasionally, you may be asked to cover

night shifts

for training, sickness, or annual leave. Our rota system supports a great

work-life balance

, where

full-time staff work four days with three days off

(pro-rata for part-time staff).


This is a part time role offering 16 hours per week.

What you'll bring to the role
