Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need, including those with specific health conditions.

Individuals who hold a Full UK drivers licence would be beneficial, so that you would be able to drive the homes vehicles.

Individuals who know BSL would also be beneficial.

This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personal care, companionship, and support in daily activities to help promote their independence.

Responsibilities

Provide care in a person-centred approach. Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with meal preparation and ensure a proper nutritional diet. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor residents health. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance residents well-being. Assist individuals in daily activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Document care provided and report any changes in residents condition to appropriate personnel. Driving (If hold full UK drivers licence).

Skills

Experience in a care setting is highly desirable, however, full training will be provided. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Organised approach to managing time and tasks effectively. Basic understanding of medication administration protocols. Basic knowledge around safeguarding of individuals is desirable. BSL desirable.
