Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join this all female team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our client with a neurological disorder who lives a very independent life. The role is working on a 1;1 basis supporting out client with all aspect of day to day living in their own home. The role is working an average of 18 hours per week, on a rolling 2 week rota;

Week1: Tuesday night (8pm-8am), Thursday day (8am-8pm)

Week 2: Friday and Saturday day (8am-8pm)

Full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role.

Responsibilities

Assist the client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, domestic duties and medication administration. Support the client with fulfilling their social activities Maintain accurate records and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Flexibility to provide cover when needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with care plans, and medication administration is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and team members. A compassionate approach to care with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
