Start the day with a smile. Maybe a coffee, a chat, and a real opportunity to make a difference.
About CoOptions
CoOptions Ltd is a social enterprise based in Prestatyn, working across Denbighshire to offer day services, work opportunities and meaningful support for adults with learning disabilities. We believe in dignity, independence, skills, friendship and genuine community inclusion. Through our social enterprises, such as creative workshops, horticulture, recycling, retail and catering, we give people the chance to grow, learn and belong.
When you join CoOptions, you become part of a team that helps people experience fulfilling days, develop new skills, gain confidence and enjoy both social and work-based activities.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide one to one support in the community and at work placement venues across Denbighshire. Your work may start with greeting someone at home, sharing a coffee or a chat to begin the day calmly. You will support people in activities such as creative sessions, gardening and horticulture projects, social enterprises and community workshops. You may also accompany people to social outings such as shopping trips, cinema visits or community activities.
Your support will help individuals develop confidence, independence and personal skills. You will adapt to each person's needs, offering encouragement, empathy and a safe and supportive atmosphere throughout the day.
What We Offer
Pay is 12.21 per hour.
Hours can be full-time, part-time or bank hours.
Work takes place during the day and early evening, with no overnight stays required.
Support occurs across various Denbighshire locations, from the person's home to CoOptions venues in places such as Prestatyn, Rhyl and Rhuallt.
Who We're Looking For
You will be a good fit if you are kind, patient and genuinely enjoy connecting with others. You should value dignity, respect and independence and feel comfortable working in varied community and workshop environments. If you enjoy seeing people grow in confidence and achieve their goals, this role will suit you well.
Why Join CoOptions
This is not a typical care role. You will be helping people create meaningful days, try new things, gain new skills and enjoy moments that truly matter. It is a job where your presence can transform someone's confidence and where every day brings something different.
