Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need. The role involves supporting clients with various care needs in different settings, including homes, nursing homes, and hospices.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support to clients, including assisting with daily activities Administer medication following prescribed guidelines Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care Assist with dementia care and hospice care as required Perform first aid when necessary Drive clients to appointments or outings Help with heavy lifting tasks when needed
Requirements
Experience in patient care or home care is advantageous Ability to provide high-quality care with empathy and understanding Proficient in medication administration and first aid procedures Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of the role A caring and compassionate nature towards those in need
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to 12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 33 per week
