Banner House Support Services Ltd (BHSS) is a supported living service in Northwest Kent that was established in 2020 and we provide bespoke person-centred respite and long-term care and support services for adults aged 18+ with Learning Disability and/or Autism.

Responsibilities:
Implementing service user plans and assisting in formulating service user plans.
Assisting service users to maintain their independence and dignity by offering appropriate levels of practical assistance to ensure their needs are being met within their home and community.
Assisting service users with meeting all aspects of activities of daily living.
Observing physical well-being and reporting plus recording any changes regarding service user.
Assisting service users with preparation of meals.
Ensuring service users are well cared for in accordance with our policies and government regulations.
Have knowledge regarding confidentiality and be familiar with GDPR regulations.
Requirements:
Desirable:
Health & Social Care NVQ Level 2 and above
At least 1 year experience working in a Care setting or Supported Living setting
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays
Flexibility to work across Kent (mainly Dartford, Greenhithe and Gravesend)
Mandatory:
Good understanding of the needs of adults with Learning Disability and/or Autism
Experience of working in a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comprehensive computer skills
Able to lone work and use initiative
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with service users, families, colleagues, support services and stakeholders
