Day Support Workers
to join our Tottenham residential children's home. In this role, you will provide hands-on care, guidance, and emotional support to children aged 10-17 with emotional and behavioural challenges.

Your Role
As a Day Support Worker, you will:
Provide practical and emotional support to children throughout the day.
Support routines including meals, personal care, education, and activities.
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and healthy choices.
Act as a keyworker, setting and reviewing personal goals with allocated young people.
Build strong, positive relationships through one-to-one and group support.
Safeguard and protect young people, following risk assessments and protocols.
Support household routines, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
Keep clear and accurate records of progress, incidents, and daily care.
Contribute to handovers, team meetings, and reflective practice sessions.
Engage in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.
What You'll Bring
At least 1 year experience in residential childcare or a similar care setting (preferred).
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it.
Compassionate, resilient, and child-focused approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care.
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
