Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Support Worker to join our team at CRM Ltd. In this role, you will provide essential support to our client in their home, helping them achieve greater independence and improving their quality of life. Your contributions will be vital in delivering high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. This role is working on a 1;1 basis with a female client with a spinal cord injury. Working hours are 7.30am-7.30pm, (36 hours per week inclusive of alternative weekends).
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, domestic duties and mobility.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
Requirements
Previous experience in a support worker or caregiving role is preferred.
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
Ability to perform manual handling effectively.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Experience of working with clients with spinal cord injury would be advantageous.
Empathy and patience.
Flexibility to provide cover when needed.
