Home Care / Domiciliary Services Carer - Sit-In Service (12-Hour or 6 Hour Shifts) Denbigh

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Carer to provide one-on-one sit-in support for a lady in her 50s, living in her own home following a brain injury several years ago. This role involves working 12 or 6 -hour shifts to ensure consistent care and support 4 further calls during the day will be provided by mobile care staff to assist the lady with toileting and personal care.

Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day

Assist with meal preparation and support during mealtimes

Offer general assistance with daily living activities in the home

Ensure a safe and comfortable environment at all times

Monitor well-being and report any concerns to family or care manager

Be available in the home when the lady is sleeping in the afternoon by wearing a pager linked to a button if you are required.

Communicate with on the road care staff via a network handheld radio for personal care calls or emergencies

Keep and provide digital records for the day consult with district nursing teams as appropriate.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar care role preferred

Understanding of brain injury and its effects beneficial

Kind, patient, and respectful approach

Must be reliable and able to work sit-in shifts

Shift Pattern: 12 or 6-hour shifts (daytime); part-time and full-time availability considered.
