About the Role



Keys Group is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people aged 16-25 who are in care or leaving care and living independently within the community. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential guidance and support to help young people develop life skills, confidence, and resilience as they transition to independence.

Key Responsibilities



Providing Support: Work within semi-independent accommodation, assisting young people with appointments, daily tasks, and community integration. Empowerment: Act as a role model and mentor, fostering self-confidence, independence, and resilience. Skill Development: Support education, training, employment, social skills, financial literacy, and budgeting. Flexible Working: Provide 24/7 support on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements



Experience in supporting young people, particularly those in care, is preferred. Personal experiences that enable empathy and understanding are valued. A compassionate, patient, and empowering approach. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable young people.
