Support worker

Required for Day centre in Dereham

Are you passionate about supporting others and making a difference? We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our friendly team at a busy day centre supporting adults with dementia and learning difficulties

Hours will be 11am to 3pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
Key Responsibilities:

Engaging service users in activities and social interaction Supporting clients with meals; basic cooking skills are a bonus Driving a minibus occasionally Maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment
Essential Skills:

Experience working with adults with dementia and/or learning disabilities Excellent communication skills Patience, empathy, and a strong team ethic Flexibility - hours may vary to cover sickness or staff shortage
Desirable Skills:

Basic cooking experience Minibus driving This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a team that truly values care, dignity, and community.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
