Job Description

We are looking for an experienced care assistant to support service users in their own homes. To fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. If you're a compassionate, positive person and work hard, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite with good communication skills, listening skills to safeguard service users in their homes.

Responsibilities

Ensure service users receive their medication on time Support service users who can't move on their own Help service users to maintain independence to wash, dress, bathe and oral care Prepare light meals according to the service users choices, wishes and preferences Help service users with their shopping Maintain a clean environment Provide emotional support Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

Proven experience as a personal care assistant Committed to health & safety Able to do housework and light meal preparations Reliable Excellent communication and people skills A positive and compassionate attitude Strong work ethics Moving and handling CPR certified High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's licence/non-driver are welcome
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: 12.75 per hour

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

2years: 1 year (preferred)
