Patient and chatty Support Worker wanted in Eckington Want to enable people with learning disabilities to enjoy the things that they love? Hello, we are six people that live together in the Eckington area. We are looking for someone that can support our interests and help us be as active as possible. We are a big group and like different things. Some of the things we like to do are:
- Clothes shopping and nail painting
- Gardening and singing
- Walks and meals out
- Jigsaws and colouring
- Football and shows at the theatre
- Elvis and rides on trains/trams
- Lively and is able to support us to be as active as possible
- Skilled in different forms of communication
- Able to balance time to give person-centred support to lots of people
- Sense of humour and will have a laugh with us
- Able to work as part of a team
- Patient and friendly
- Chatty and able to involve us in our support
