What you'll be doing

As part of our dedicated team, you'll be alongside residents from the moment they arrive, helping them settle in, feel safe, and access the support they need. From assisting with daily living skills and encouraging healthy routines to supporting personal goals like education, training, or reconnecting with family, you'll be there to guide, listen, and empower.


You'll also work closely with colleagues, health professionals, and other agencies to ensure residents get the right support at the right time. It is about building trust, showing compassion, and helping people believe in themselves again.

What we're looking for

A recognised social care qualification (minimum SVQ Level 2) or a willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3 Someone who is empathetic, reliable, and able to work in a team Basic IT skills and the ability to keep clear records Experience in homelessness, addictions, or social care would be an advantage, but more important is the right attitude and a commitment to our values

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
