As a Support Worker with CrossReach, you'll help adults with learning disabilities make the most of their day. You'll provide practical and emotional support that builds confidence, independence and connection. This could involve cooking a meal together, joining a community activity, or simply listening when someone needs to talk.


Your calm, patient and caring approach will help create a safe and positive environment where everyone feels valued and included.

About You

You're kind, reliable and people-focused. You bring empathy and understanding to every interaction and believe that small moments of connection can make a big difference.


No previous experience is needed. What matters most are your values, your attitude and your willingness to learn. Ideally, you'll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, or be happy to work towards it with our support.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
