As a Support Worker with CrossReach, you'll help adults with learning disabilities live independently and confidently in their own homes. You'll provide practical and emotional support that makes a real difference, whether that's cooking a meal together, supporting with daily routines, joining in community activities, or simply being there to listen.


Your calm, patient and caring approach will help create a positive environment where everyone feels safe, respected and valued.

About You

You're kind, reliable and people-focused. You bring empathy, patience and understanding to every interaction and believe that small moments of connection can make a big difference.


You don't need to have previous experience in care. What matters most is your attitude, values and willingness to learn. Ideally, you'll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, or be willing to work towards it with our support.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
