All we ask is that you have the commitment and drive to encourage and guide the people we support to make this happen (or qualification requirements/experience).
This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.
Who will you be supporting?
You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in a supported living service, helping them to lead independent and fulfilling lives. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities such as going to the cinema, cooking, arts and crafts, and socialising in the community. Some individuals may also require support with personal care and complex needs. A person-centred approach is essential to ensuring each individual's choices and preferences are respected.
