The role involves supporting young people aged 16+ as they transition into independent adulthood. You'll act as their main point of contact, offering practical, emotional, financial, and social guidance. Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing tailored support plans, helping them engage in education or work, managing finances, and building essential life skills. You'll work closely with social workers and partner agencies, maintain accurate records, and advocate on behalf of the young person. The role also requires flexibility to work within a 24-hour rota and a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous professional development.
Duties
