We have an opportunity for Female Support Workers to join our team working in our services in North Tyneside.

At Flexible Support Options we support adults with learning disabilities and mental health in various settings This may include people who live in their own home and have a team of staff who support them to live independently, outreach services or to have a break away from home where they will be able to relax, participate in activities and be supported by a familiar and friendly team. This will be a very diverse and varied role and you will be part of a very established team.

Due to the complex needs of the services and the individuals who access it is beneficial that you have previous experience in a social care setting. We are looking for a caring, compassionate individual who is dedicated to ensuring individuals receive the best standards of care and support possible. Someone who is approachable, treats people with dignity and respect. People are depending on you so you must be reliable and dedicated. You may need to travel between locations at times and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight where necessary

What to expect:

Total hours required 20 Driver automatic car preferred Gender preference female only Ethnicity preference N/A To support a lady who has autism and is deaf Experience in complex behaviour BSL desired but not essential as full training will be given Long days and waking nights
