About The Role

Your role will be dedicated to working with a child with complex needs who has a tracheostomy and is ventilated, in their own home. Working to build a professional, working relationship and supporting them with their activities of daily living, social and leisure activities at home or in the community.

This post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Term Time

Monday to Friday Days: 7am to 7pm

Saturday: 1pm to 5pm (Alternate)

Sunday: 12pm to 6pm

Non Term Time

Monday to Friday Days: 12pm to 8pm

Saturday: 1pm to 5pm (Alternate)

Sunday: 12pm to 6pm

Waking Nights

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday 9pm - 7.30am

Friday & Saturday 10.30pm - 9am

About You

Required

Experience of working in a support role

Friendly, approachable and confident

Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator experience

Flexible in approach to meet the needs of the client

Experience of working with complex children

Non smoker

Desirable

Registered on the DBS update service
