This particular role is based in
Fulbourn
and will provide support to a lovely gentleman who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, cortical blindness and learning difficulties. He is looking for a Support Worker who will enjoy his constantly happy demeanour, his love of stories and who will help with activities and outings. Requirements
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role - both manual and automatic driving licences accepted
Various shift patterns with a requirement for alternate weekends
A nurturing, supportive and patient approach
Strong communication skills, being able to pick up on both verbal and non-verbal cues
New to social care - no problem, as we have excellent internal training for all support staff.

Main responsibilities
To provide person-centred support to the people who use our services.
To follow the support plans of the people we support and any other relevant documentation
To support all people in line with their individual communication needs
Assist with daily living activities, which may include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
Maintain open communication with the people we support, their families and within the staffing team to ensure needs are met effectively.
