We are looking for a caring and dedicated
Support Worker
to join our team and make a genuine difference in the lives of the people we support. This is a rewarding, hands-on role where no two days are the same. Youll support residents with day-to-day living, build positive relationships, and help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable home environment. Youll be working in one of our
three well-established Kosher residential homes, all proudly rated Good by the CQC!
Your role will include:
Supporting residents with personal care in a respectful and dignified way
Preparing meals and assisting with domestic tasks
Supporting people to get out and about, take part in activities and enjoy their community
Encouraging independence, confidence and choice
Most importantly, spending time, having fun and building meaningful connections
Youll need good written and verbal communication skills, a flexible and positive approach, and a willingness to learn. We provide training and development programme to support you in your role and help you grow your career with us.
The working pattern is
5 days out of 7
, including weekends and bank holidays.
Essential Criteria:
A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach with respect for dignity, choice and independence
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills, including the ability to:
+ Accurately record daily notes, care plans and incident reports
+ Use electronic care systems and basic software (e.g. emails, online training platforms)
+ Maintain clear, timely and confidential records in line with data protection requirements A full driving licence and willingness to drive is essential for driving residents to activities
Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
Commitment to attending training and ongoing development
A genuine interest in supporting people to live independently and enjoy fulfilling lives
Desirable Criteria
NVQ Level 2 / Diploma in Health & Social Care(If you dont already have this qualification, youll need to complete the Care Certificate during your induction period)
