About The Role:

We are currently looking for a

Full Time Support Worker

, this is to work with our client who has a

Spinal Cord Injury

, living in their own home in the Thursby area.

Ideally applicants need to have flexibility to work on a rota basis completing long days, waking nights and the double up shift 7am - 11am across Monday to Sunday.

We would consider just waking nights on a rota basis.

The role will include all aspects of personal care and support for daily living Assisting with passive exercises, transfers using a ceiling hoist and medication administration You will be assisting the lady on social outings which may include cinema, local concerts, eating out, coffee shops and short local wheelchair accessible walks Light meal preparation, at lunch time, and some light household duties

Hours of Work:

7:00am - 7:00pm (Monday - Sunday)

7:00pm - 7:00am (Monday to Sunday)

7:00am - 11:00am (Double Up)

Rates of Pay:

15.00 per hour - Day shift (Monday to Friday)

16.00 per hour - Day shift (Saturday to Sunday)

16.00 per hour - Night shift (Monday to Friday)

17.00 per hour - Night shift (Saturday to Sunday)

11.50 per hour - Training

Support workers will have their own room to take breaks/meals during their shifts as well as a separate toilet.

About You:

The right candidates will be professional, reliable, respectful, proactive, flexible, trustworthy and committed A full, clean driving licence is essential and you must be prepared to drive the lady's wheelchair accessible vehicle You will be working in the lady's own home and would need to be respectful of her space and privacy Previous experience of working in care would be preferred but full specialist training will be provided It is essential for health purposes you have high standards of personal hygiene; you will speak English fluently and understand the necessity for privacy and confidentiality.

A Full UK driving licence is ESSENTIAL

. Your license must be clean with no endorsements and you will be expected to drive our client's adapted vehicle. We ask all applicants are
