About The Role




A

Support Worker

provides practical and emotional support to individuals who need help with day-to-day living. This can include people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.


Support Workers help people live as independently and safely as possible, both at home and in the community.

Key Responsibilities:



Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene) Supporting with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and shopping Helping with medication and health appointments Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities Providing emotional reassurance and companionship Promoting independence, dignity, and choice

Key Skills & Qualities:



Patience, empathy, and a caring nature Strong communication and listening skills Dependability and a calm approach to challenges Willingness to learn and follow care plans
