Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in their residential care home. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Implement behaviour management strategies to support clients with specific needs. Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour to the Manager. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all hygiene standards are met. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programmes. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Familiarity with behaviour management practices is an asset. A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
