Job Description

Brooklands Care Ltd are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic, caring and passionate support workers to assist individuals in their home located in Gosport.

We currently have 2 vacancies , 1 is a full time position, contracted 39 hours. And another for part time 24 hours. Both will include working alternative weekends and including weekly sleep-ins at 50.00 per sleep-in shift. Both applicants will be required to work across two homes, both within in the Gosport area and within 5 minute walk from one another. There is also an enhanced overtime rate for covering shifts and also weekend cover.

In this role, you will support adults with learning disabilities and be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time with them both within their home and in the community . This will include: assisting with personal care , medication , food preparation and menu planning attending alongside appointments with them, getting to and from social clubs and participation in outdoor activities of their choice such as cinemas, eating out and swimming .

Although experience is preferred , it is not essential and the right candidate will receive the appropriate training during the induction process.
