Ebenezer Support Ltd is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our care team, delivering exceptional personal and practical support to adults within our residential care services.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care to individuals with varying needs, including support with personal hygiene, mobility, eating and drinking, social interaction, and promoting independence. You will work as part of a caring and motivated team to maintain the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide holistic care tailored to each individual's physical, psychological, and emotional needs.
Assist with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
Support service users with medication in line with policy and under supervision.
Promote social interaction with families, friends, and the community.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, carers, and professionals.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans and reviews.
Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting concerns to senior staff.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a care setting or with dementia care is desirable, though not essential.
Willingness to complete or already hold a Care Certificate.
First Aid training is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and bank holidays.
A respectful, empathetic, and reliable team player with a proactive attitude.
Basic IT skills (training will be provided if required).
A commitment to upholding dignity, respect, and safeguarding practices.
