Summary



We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our compassionate team at Invercare in [Location]. Responsibilities

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role is highly desirable Strong knowledge of assisted living practices and patient care techniques Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care is essential Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Compassionate nature with a commitment to enhancing client well-being First aid certification is preferred but not mandatory Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated

Support Worker

to join our team at Invercare You'll be supporting individuals to live independently, achieve their personal goals, and make the most of everyday life.

Responsibilities:



Provide person-centred care and support tailored to each individual person's needs. Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. Encourage independence, confidence, and social inclusion. Support with medication and health appointments (where required). Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

About You:



Kind, patient, and committed to making a positive difference. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable and flexible with a caring attitude. Experience in care or support work is beneficial but not essential -- full training will be provided. Some shifts and services include sleep overs, waken nights, and shifts on weekdays and weekends.
