Job Description

Overview:
We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. We will only accept applications from candidates with a driving licence and use of a car. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to service users on care runs across South Lanarkshire which will require you to be out and about in the community. This position requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or when out in the community
- Assist with shopping
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the individuals
- Follow care plans and ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times

Requirements:

- Driving licence and use of car
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of independence
- Knowledge of dementia care is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision

-Work one weekend on and one weekend off

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.75 per hour
