United Response are seeking a part-time support worker weekends and holiday cover for our service in Harrogate.



About the service:





We are a small, welcoming care home in Harrogate, providing tailored support for four young adults with complex physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and wheelchair use.



We are currently seeking a

Weekend / Holiday Support Worker

to join our dedicated and friendly team. This role involves supporting individuals with a wide range of daily living activities both at home and in the community. Responsibilities include:


Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing, and use of any specialist equipment) Meal preparation and assistance Household tasks and medication support Supporting individuals in the community (e.g., attending medical appointments, shopping, and social outings)


A significant aspect of this role is providing personal care. Are you comfortable and confident in offering this kind of support?



You will be joining a stable, experienced, and fun team, led by a proactive and supportive manager. We offer flexible weekend hours that can be tailored to suit your personal commitments, creating a great opportunity for work-life balance.

Our support workers are the heart of everything we do. This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.
