Overview


As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. Your primary focus will be to assist clients in their daily activities, promote their independence, and enhance their quality of life. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care while fostering positive relationships with clients and their families.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their daily routines and engaging in social activities. Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's specific needs. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate professionals. Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and document any significant observations. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the care environment.

Skills



Experience working in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively. Strong command of the English language for clear communication with clients and colleagues. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using electronic care management systems. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members effectively. Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 24,420.00-36,098.29 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
