Ignite Health and Homecare is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team supporting

two young adults and one teenager

, aged

16-22

, in the community.

This is a rewarding and lively role for someone with a

calm, patient and confident under pressure

. You will work closely as part of a small, consistent team, supporting shared activities and individual interests.

About the People You'll Support

The

two young adults

enjoy days out, arts and crafts, playing computer games, socialising and trips to the pub. The

teenager

loves all things girly, including shopping trips, pampering and fun days out. Activities often involve

all three

, so teamwork, planning and flexibility are essential.
All individuals are

blind

, use

wheelchairs

, and have

communication difficulties

alongside other health needs. Despite this, they have a strong passion for life and value staff who can help create meaningful experiences and lasting memories.

The Role



You will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and inclusion, including:

Supporting daily activities, social outings and hobbies Assisting with communication in a respectful and empowering way Providing personal and health-related support in line with care plans Working calmly and effectively in dynamic situations Contributing positively to a supportive team environment
What We're Looking For

A fun, upbeat and reliable individual with a positive attitude Calm, patient and adaptable, with the ability to think on your feet A strong team player with excellent communication skills Previous care experience is welcome but

not essential


Training & Requirements

Full training provided

although a minimum of 6 months experience is essential A

driving licence is desirable but not essential

(two adapted vehicles are available) Hours to be agreed;

some weekend working

will be required (approximately one weekend per month)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
