we are now recruiting a support workers for our day service and domiciliary team . We are giving you the opportunity to join our team and provide a fun, action packed day for individuals with additional needs.

Experience is preferred, however full training is provided.

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality care and support to individuals, enabling them to live as independently as possible. This includes helping with daily activities, promoting personal development, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Personal Care:

- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Support individuals with mobility, including the use of aids and adaptations.

2. Daily Living Assistance:

- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry.

- Assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary requirements.

3. Health and Medication:

- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records.

- Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.

4. Emotional and Social Support:

- Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction.

- Support individuals in attending appointments and participating in community activities.

5. Personal Development:

- Encourage and support individuals in pursuing hobbies, education, and employment.

- Assist with the development of independent living skills.

6. Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition.

- Complete reports and documentation as required by the organization.

7. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety regulations.

- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures to protect individuals from abuse and harm.

Essential:

- Full Driving Licence

- Clear background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
