Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:




We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred service to a

young man

at our award-winning service in

Inverness

. The individual we support has specific support needs and we have a tailored care and support plan to meet his individual needs. As a team we work together to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and aspirational outcomes/goals of the person we support are met.



As a Support Worker you will help to organise and participate in activities. This young man enjoys activities such as swimming, football, trampolining, going to the cinema, DIY, walking and keeping fit, listening to music, going to the gym, going on holidays and accessing the community. You will support him to make his own choices and develop a range of life skills such as:- cooking, cleaning, managing finances, supporting with personal hygiene, scheduling & attending appointments, meal planning and shopping.



You need to have the ability to form positive relationships with the person we support, colleagues, guardians, families and other professionals. You need to have a good understanding of discrimination and health and wellbeing issues.

We are currently recruiting for a

15

-hour Support Worker role to work every Sunday from 8am - 10pm, with a sleepover from 10pm to 7am (Monday AM) and 7am - 8am on Monday morning

.
