We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through attentive caregiving and support. Experience in senior care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice care is highly desirable. Duties
Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental wellbeing
Facilitate behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe environment
Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care environments
Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
Respond promptly to emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary
Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to supervising staff
Experience
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred
Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration and behaviour management
Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or senior care is advantageous
Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as meal preparation and heavy lifting is beneficial
Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties
Certification in first aid or related emergency response training is a plus
