We're a small, local care provider and we're looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team. Our service includes a four-bed residential home and five supported living flats, all based on the same site providing 24-hour care, 365 days per year. You'll be supporting adults to live as independently and happily as possible--whether that's in our residential homes or in supported living settings.
As a Support Worker, you'll play a key role in helping adults with learning disabilities and autism live full, happy, and independent lives. Your day-to-day duties may include:
Providing personal care with dignity and respect, when required
Supporting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
Encouraging and promoting independence, helping people to learn and develop everyday skills
Supporting individuals to take part in meaningful activities, hobbies, and community outings
Accompanying people to appointments, social events, or family visits
Providing positive behavioural support, following individual behaviour support plans and using proactive, person-centred strategies
Building trusting relationships and offering emotional reassurance during times of anxiety or distress
Supporting with communication, using tailored approaches to understand and respond to each person's needs
Assisting with medication administration and keeping accurate records, in line with policies and training
Recording daily notes, progress, and incidents clearly and professionally
Working closely with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support

Waking Night Shifts:
21:30 - 07:15
You'll work
every other weekend
