Job Description

We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. We have the following vacancies:

1. Based in Airdrie, you will work 5 days over 7, 10am-2pm. You do not need a license for this role

2. Based in Shotts, you will work 16 hours per week - varied shifts. Must have a license and access to own vehicle

3. Cumbernauld based - must be a male and hold a valid license with access to own vehicle. This is a part time position, hours tbc

Main Responsibilities Include:

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders Provide emotional support and companionship to clients Help with mobility and transferring of clients, including heavy lifting when necessary Implement behaviour management strategies as required Support clients through understanding and patience Drive clients to appointments or outings when needed. A valid driving license, with your own vehicle and willingness to drive adapted vehicles is essential. Full in-depth training will be provided. Overtime is readily available for staff interested.

Registration with the SSSC and Disclosure Scotland's PVG scheme, are an essential requirement of this post. Applications for both will be made only after a conditional offer of employment is made.
