We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work 1:1 and 2:1 (in the community) with one of our male learners who lives in Langport.

My name is A and I live in Langport. I like being outside and going for regular daily walks with my staff. I love the Wild Thornberry's and Thomas the Tank Engine. I need regular, familiar staff and structure to my week. I do not like big, excitable dogs or loud noises.

The shift pattern is:

Week 1:


Tuesday 9:30am-2pm
Wednesday 7am-3:30pm
Thursday 3:30pm-10pm
Friday 7am-3:30pm

Week 2:


Tuesday 9:30am-2pm
Thursday 7am-3:30pm
Friday 3:30pm-10pm
Saturday 7am-3:30pm
Sunday 3:30pm-10pm

Totalling to 31.25 hours per week

Salary: 12.27-14.27 per hour, increasing within 6 months of employment. No qualifications are needed to apply for the role; qualifications, training and progression opportunities are available.



Work/Life balance is important to us. a2a has a variety of contracts available to suit you and your family, part time or full-time hours available. All contracts are based on a 2 week rolling rota, so you will always know your shifts and with every other weekend off work (unless wanting weekend only work).

Thursday 3:30pm-10pm
Friday 7am-3:30pm

Saturday 7am-3:30pm
Sunday 3:30pm-10pm

Totalling to 31.25 hours per week

For all posts, you must be age 18+ and be both literate and numerate. Experience of working with people with physical and learning disabilities is an advantage but not essential. All posts are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
