Job Description

We have opportunity for support worker to join us in Kirkstall Court Care Home.

You will be working for clients with cognitive impairment, Korsakoff`s Syndrome.

We looking for someone with enthusiasm, flexible and who is committed to provide an outstanding service.

Experience with Electronic care plans

Contract will be 36 hours per week.

Care certificate needed

NVQ 2 health & social care

Summary

As a Support Worker, you will be essential in delivering compassionate care and support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living and nursing homes. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role involves implementing care plans and providing patient care, with a focus on seniors and those with conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Your core experience in care, along with premium skills in hospice and home care, will ensure that clients receive the highest quality of support. Additionally, your relevant abilities in first aid and medication administration will enhance the well-being of those you serve.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and support to clients in assisted living and nursing home settings. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to NVQ standards. Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Offer emotional support and companionship, particularly for those with Alzheimer's and dementia. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
