Job Description
We are looking for support workers to maximise the independence of individuals within our day services and community settings.
Day Service
Support includesEnsuring that the people we support are kept safe Motivating the people we support to take part in various activities. Providing person centred care to all individuals Liaising and working within a team Day Trips and Activities within Day Services Medication administration Personal Care Moving & Handling (where required)
Community Support
includesSupport the individuals to run and take care of their own homes. Activities within the community Days/Trips out Supporting Individuals to maintain their health and wellbeing Personal Care Medication Administration Moving & Handling (where required) Sleep Ins Supported Holidays
About You
A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others. A strong team player who can also work using their own initiative. A resilient personality whilst understanding the strength to seek support when needed. Satisfactory communication skills.
